My Creations

Plays, nonfiction, reviews.
About the stuff I create.
My plays include The Last Priest, Pardon My Dust (Best Citywide Comedy nomination), Radiating Like a Stone (Best Citywide Ensemble), Last Chance Liquor, Road to Rouen, The Miracle of Father Kapaun, and Two Bites: Mark Twain’s Diaries of Adam and Eve, among others. Among 10-minute plays are Terminal, Skates, Pillow, and Quorum. I’ve had productions and staged readings in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Denver, and Wichita. I’ve written commissioned scripts for Watermark Press, the Vagabond Theatre, the Minnesota History Center, the Science Museum of Minnesota, and the Wichita Symphony.
Here is more information about my plays.
Off the boards, I’ve reviewed books and theatre for The Shout, BlueInk (upcoming), IndieReader, and The Wichita Eagle, among others. My creative nonfiction is published in Spellbinder and 105 Meadowlark, and I have edited and written commissioned articles and books on the arts, science, history, and the environment.
Go here, here, and here for more information about some of my writing.
I've edited and written for member magazines for nonprofits including the Science Museum of Minnesota, the National Flute Association, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I’ve also written and edited in business publications and environments, where I’ve shilled southeastern Minnesota B&Bs, healthy cat food, respiratory therapy devices, business-to-business LANs, and encyclopedic financial entries defining concepts like “the Glass-Steagal Act” and “short calls,” information that will amuse anybody who knows me.

Brief synopses of my plays will be available soon. Check back for updates.
